Fraser Macleod opened the scoring in the 13th minute and two goals in a minute soon after put Dundee in control with a good shot from Cameron McCormack then a great piece of skill from Archie Meekison. Fraser Macleod scored his second in the 36th minute to put Dundee 4 up but a good shot from Angus pulled one back a minute later. The pace in the second half was naturally a bit slower but Matt McKinnon started to find form and netted in the 51st minute for 5-1. As all the subs got on for a taste of the action Dundee increased the lead with another goal from Matt McKinnon in the 72nd minute, then a well deserved goal for Finlay Baird in the 78th minute followed a minute later by Matt McKinnon completing his hat-trick for 8-1. Next up is away to Lothian on Wednesday 7th November (details to be confirmed) then a home match against Fife on Wednesday 14th November at Whitton Park.

Angus beat Dundee 3-0 in the U15 National Trophy Group 2. The home team scored twice with the wind at their backs in the first half at Montrose Roselea, helped by defensive mistakes. Dundee keeper Fergus Robertson was the best player for the visitors.
Monifieth beat Glenwood HS 7-0 in the U16 Shield 1st Round in Glenrothes and now play home to Kinross HS.

Wednesday 19th September
The DSA U13 League games Grove v. Monifieth and Morgan v. Baldragon were both called off because of the conditions as Storm Ali blew gusts of 65-70 mph all over the place. Also off was the U13 Shield 1st Round game Glenwood HS v. St.John's which will be rearranged.
Dundee Senior Select beat D & A College 5-2 in a friendly at Gardyne Road. The strong winds made it difficult to watch but given the poor conditions it was a good game. A Grady McGrath hat-trick helped Dundee to their 5 goals while a penalty and a kick-out from the goalkeeper was carried over the Dundee keeper into the net for the College goals.

Above : SS PETER & PAUL (YELLOW) v. ST.ANDREW'S (BLUE) IN ARAB TRUST DSA SECTION C
Wednesday 12th September
SS Peter & Paul and St.Andrew's kicked off the Primary season with a 1-1 draw in Arab Trust DSA Section C. At halftime it was 0-0 and good chances were few and far between but the tempo picked up in the second half. SS Peter & Paul opened the scoring 10 minutes after the break when a cross from the right was touched in from a couple of yards out, beating the keeper at the near post. There were chances for both sides and St.Andrew's piled on the pressure late in the game, with the ball hitting the top of the bar with a minute left in the search for an equaliser.
SS Peter & Paul then had a chance to finish it off but shot wide and in the last minute St.Andrew's raced up the right and fired in a cross which as luck would have it was diverted past the SSPP keeper for an own goal by the best player on the park. An exciting end to the game and a draw was probably the right result.

Tuesday 11th September
Grove beat Monifieth 3-0 in the Arab Trust U15 League. A very strong wind threatened to ruin the game on a sunny afternoon but both sides served up a good match in the local derby. Grove scored twice into the wind in the first quarter while Monifieth efforts to fight back were usually hit a bit too hard and the wind carried the ball into the trees. The second half was fairly even with both keepers in good form. The Monifieth keeper could do nothing to prevent a Nathan Chew shot from 30 yards fly into the top corner for 3-0.
