Wednesday 1st February
In Day 1 of the Dundee Junior Sevens Craigiebarns beat Craigowl 3-0 in the final to qualify for the North Finals on 30th March at Riverside. There was a "first-ever" in any of the SSFA events in Dundee when Inchture and St.Andrew's needed a penalty shoot-out to decide who qualified for the semifinal. With all teams in League B level on points and goal difference after 2 games it was all to play for in the last game. Craigowl beat St.Luke's & St.Matthew's 3-0 to top the group, but Inchture and St.Andrew's drew 2-2 so there was nothing between them, both ending on 4 points with a goal difference of 4-4. St.Andrew's won the penalty shoot-out 5-4 to reach the semifinal.

Above : SCOTLAND (BLUE) v. AUSTRALIA (YELLOW) IN THE U18 INTERNATIONAL AT RENFREW
Wednesday 25th January
St.John's beat St.Columba's HS Dunfermline 5-0 in the Inspiresport U14 Shield 4th Round and now play Gryffe HS from Houston at home.
Scotland and Australia drew 3-3 in an U18 International Friendly at Renfrew. Adam Brown (Grove) was in the starting line-up and played well. There were no goals in the first half but the second half made up for that. Luc Bollan (Monifieth) came on at halftime and finished from close range in the first minute of the second half to give Scotland the lead. Australia fought back to go 2-1 up and the game had just entered time added on when Scotland won a penalty and equalised for 2-2. However Australia scored again less than a minute later to lead 3-2. Because of the amount of substitutions as both sides introduced all their players there was a lot of time to be added on. Scotland attacked again and Australia handled the ball in the box while attempting to clear, so another penalty was awarded and Scotland scored to make the score 3-3, with the last three goals coming in three minutes in an exciting end to the game.

Tuesday 24th January
Aberdeen beat Dundee 5-1 in the U15 National Trophy Quarterfinal at Spain Park. After a bright Aberdeen opening Dundee hit the bar through Nairn Bonnar then took the lead when a Ryan Arnott corner on the right was headed in by Josh McConville, 0-1 (22 min). Two minutes into time added on at the end of the half and with Dundee temporarily down to 10 men, Aberdeen broke down the right and fired a low shot into the far corner for 1-1. Aberdeen went ahead 12 minutes after halftime with a shot at the near post then 4 minutes later scored a cracker to lead 3-1.
Dundee had missed a couple of chances when the Aberdeen keeper was caught in possession but desperate Aberdeen defending prevented a shot on target. With all the subs getting on Dundee conceded a 4th just 8 minutes from the end and Aberdeen wrapped it up with a free kick over the keeper almost on the final whistle.

Wednesday 11th January
In the U15 Girls Crossover at Toryglen the East Girls beat South-West 2-1 to finish 3rd. West beat North 2-1 in the final while Central and South-East drew 2-2 to share 5th place. The travel chaos created by the lorry tipping over on the Forth Bridge meant a difficult journey from Dunfermline to the Clackmannanshire Bridge, a 17-mile journey taking just under two hours. Instead of playing the second game, East arrived in Glasgow at 11.45 and played the last game against South-West. 0-0 at halftime, Tara Laughlin (Perth Ac.) opened the scoring with a run through the middle, South-West equalised but Caitlyn Wilson (St.Columba's HS Dunfermline) grabbed the winner.
